I am originally from California and received a degree in cognitive science from UC Santa Cruz, with a focus in human computer interaction. I graduated from CU Boulder in 2021 with my masters in Creative Technology and Design. This program allowed me to hone my design and research skills, as well as flex my creativity (I did my thesis on
AR data visualization). While at CU, I worked as a research assistant in the
VisuaLab, where I got to explore my passion for learning about the human experience in the context of technology use and design. I still volunteer as a research assistant with the Visualab in my free time (see publications I'm on below!).
I currently work as a UX designer and researcher at Spectrum Reach. In this role, I have worked on both internal and customer facing products, doing research, design, and testing. Outside of work, I love the outdoors, spending time with my dog Frankie, and being creative in mediums other than pixels (currently learning to knit).
